About API (National Body)
The Association of Physicians of India (API) was established in 1944 and has grown to become one of the largest medical associations in India. With over 100,000 members across the country, API is dedicated to advancing the science and practice of medicine.
API organizes the annual APICON conference, publishes the Journal of the Association of Physicians of India (JAPI), and conducts numerous CME programs throughout the year.
The organization also runs the Indian College of Physicians (ICP) and the Physicians Research Foundation (PRF), contributing significantly to medical education and research in India.
